About me...
Change can be daunting. Facing the unknown—whether by choice or through circumstances beyond our control—change can lead to feelings of fear and overwhelm. These emotions often arise from various psychological and social factors that we are often not even aware of. Change can take many forms: the loss of a job, relationships, approaching retirement, becoming an empty-nester, or simply not knowing what's next or what you really want.

I’m no stranger to change! I grew up in a small village in the UK and left for boarding school at the age of 12. My desire to experience life in a big city led me to London for university. After graduating, I landed a fabulous job as an events manager for a travel magazine, which opened up a world of opportunities for international travel and adventure. After six years, I decided to indulge my wanderlust more and embarked on two years of backpacking, eventually arriving in Australia and deciding to call it home.
I settled in a small country town with a population of 8,000—this required major adjustments on many levels! Everything was so different from my fast-paced London life and globetrotting adventures. After 17 years, I relocated with my three children to Canberra—embracing yet another new job, new home, and new life.
As I was approaching my next phase, I pondered the soul-searching question: What do I want to do for the next 10, 20 years of my life? With 25+ years of experience leading people, managing complex projects, and fostering positive change, I realised that my joy comes from building relationships and supporting others on their journey of growth and success. With my calm presence, strategic thinking, and deep empathy, I discovered my purpose and passion for coaching.
As a Change and Empowerment Coach, with a life-time of lived experience, I am passionate about supporting individuals to navigate life's challenges, and empower them to take the steps with clarity and confidence to achieve their desired outcomes.
